Because every unit sold draws down a real lot at a real cost, the ticket can carry cost and margin as it is rung up — and the day close is the same numbers, not a reconciliation exercise.

At the till
Anyone checked in today is ready to check out, with their treatment already on the ticket and the provider attached.
- Add treatments or retail, change quantity, price or discount per line.
- Split payment across cash, card, bank transfer, financing, account credit or other.
- Payment cannot be taken until the payments match the total.
- A discount over 15% needs a manager and a written reason.
- Cost and margin are blanked for roles without cost access.
- A refund posts the opposite entries; nothing is ever erased.

At close
Sales, refunds, discounts, tax owed, product used, processor fees and margin kept, plus every account touched.
The ledger is append-only: an entry cannot be edited or deleted, and nothing posts unless the group sums to zero. That is why the close ends with a plain check that the books balance rather than a spreadsheet.
Stock is the other half of the number
Margin is only honest if the cost is. Stock is tracked by lot, drawn oldest expiry first.
- Lots with expiry
- Every lot carries its number, expiry, units and unit cost, oldest expiry first.
- Expiry warnings
- Anything expiring within 45 days is flagged; anything past date is marked expired.
- Movements recorded
- Received, sold, wasted, expired, recounted, moved — history that nobody can edit or delete.
- Minimum levels
- Set what a location should keep and when to reorder; short products show up in the top line.
- Transfers between locations
- Send units to your other site and the lot is created there with the same number and expiry.
- Waste has a price
- For roles with cost access, the value of what was wasted and what expired is on the page.
